75 cL bottle. Pours a dark brown to black with a huge, tan and dense creamy head, slowly collapsing and leaving good lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted malt with a light liqourice touch. Roasted malt flavoured, liqourice/annis seed and mild dry spiced impression. Thin body into a dry and spiced finish. A bit thin.

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 23-10-09. Pours murky brown, even at 5% this tastes very insubstantial when compared to others that I’ve had. Touc rustic on the nose, little earthy, wet cardboard, watery coffee dregs its ok. There is a gentle sweetness but its too safe and subdued especially by Raasted’s usually high standards.
