330 ml bottle, as CCA Cervisia Ambar Caesar Avgvsta Cerveza de Trigo, from Alcampo Gran Canaria. ABV is 5.2%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Typical pilsener aroma of grassy hops, some wheaty notes too (citrus, cloves). Plenty of carbonation in the mouth. Citrussy flavour, moderate grassy hops, some cloves.

Bottle. A quite clear one, yellow to golden in color, and with a dense, finger thick off-white head. The aroma has touch of pale malts and a faint yeast note, but the fruits dominates. Ripe pears mostly. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, with a fruityness and a faint touch of spices. Medium body, soft carbonation, quite dry. Short fruity finish. Pretty pleasant this one, although a bit uninteresting and ordinary. 131011

330ml bottle bought in Palma at El Corte Ingles (Rossello). Patchy head to a clear straw-yellow coloured body. Moderate grassy hops to the nose. Faint flavours of grass, grain and some fruits. Papery dry ending. Soft carbonated. Easy to forget (Port de Soller, 11.07.2013).

Bottle 33 cl. Addendum. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small white head. Yeast, fruit and a little phenols in the nose. Medium body, sweetish malty a lightly unclean cardboard whiff, again yeasty with a hint of metal and butter. A surprising underlying bitterness. Certainly appears stronger than 5.2%. 230812

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Kuikka, 20120416) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized, sparse and white. Aroma had fruitiness, mildly banana and some metallicness. Palate was medium bodied and quite dry with high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, banana, grain and quite acrid bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. The beer had some kristallweizen characteristics but end result was unfortunately quite bad.
