Bottle. Cantillon. Deep purple. Fine ring of pink swede. Nose has red wine dregs. Fresh pressed sweet red grape. Old leather. Cut oak. Taste is tart dry and fruity. Nice breakfast grape juice thing going on. Dry and clean on the palate with moussy carbonation. Some enamel furring acidity. Tart juicy finish.

2019 bottle thanks to Mike. Pours a dark purple with small pink head that lasts. The aroma is funk, grape skin, oak, spice. Medium body, funky, grape, oak, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

Bottle at Cantillon. Very vinous, soft funk and wood but a lot of tannic grapes. Deep notes of plums and ripe red fruit, chocolate even. Lovely.
EB Quintessence Trip April 16-19. Very heavy on the grapes with plenty of black currant and black cherries but still the lama box manages to pierce through. Truly a wine and lambic hybrid and utterly delicious!

Bottle (2019 vintage) shared at Moeder’s Into the Wine Tasting. Dark garnet pour with a fleeting white head. Wow, this is really good. It’s powerful with a huge red wine component that is countered and balanced by the addition of the 3 year old lambic. Great body and mouthfeel.

14/VIII/21 - 75cl bottle, shared @ Cantillon brewery (Brussels), BB: n/a, bottled: 28/X/15 (2021-790) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Pretty clear deep dark purple beer, bit aery irregular purplish head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very intense, fruity, floral, grapes, vinous touch, dusty, nice. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice and fruity start, turning rather bitter quickly, some tannins, wood notes, slightly sweet, bit soapy. Aftertaste: dry, funky, tannins, red wine, some grapes, bit metallic, soft acidity, good stuff, dry finish.

Bottle, 750 ml at Cantillon. 2015 vintage. Shared with Miro B and Hrvoje. Dark ruby purple with large off white pinkish head not lasting for very long. Vinous, tannic, grapes, lots of barrel, funky. Intensive fruit. Quite dry. Medium bodied.
