Bottle @ Quintessence 2018. Pours deep dark purple with a small pinkish head. Notes of very dark red grapes, tannins, black currants, boysenberries, lightly cheesy funk, some woody notes, lightly acidic. This will age insane.

From bottle at BXL Beer Fest, Cantillon Tasting.
Dark ruby body, with a small, fluffy, pink head.
Amazing aroma of dark grapes, red wine, tannins, wood, dark berries, some leather.
Tastes similarly great, with even more juicy dark grapes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium dry, wooden, tannic, a bit leathery, very vinous, with lots of lingering dark grapes.

Delicious! This is all about the dark grapes, which are so beautiful, with complex, delicate fruit notes. Drinks as elegant and intense like a red wine, but much easier, the balance is fantastic. Among my favourite Cantillons!

Quintessence. Dark ruby with a softly pink head. Dark berries, yoghurt, pepper, metallic, sea. Medium, strong fruit and pepper and yoghurt, lively carbonation, chalky and flour texture, spicy. Lingering funk and fruit palate. Good, but becomes too much after a while.
