Lindeboom Bock: dé klassieker zoals oorspronkelijk bedoeld.

0.3 l bottle from 'Drankgigant.nl', best before April 2025. A bit hazy, dark reddish brown with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, toasted nuts and some cocoa. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit roasty taste of caramel, loads of nuts, cocoa and faint traces of raisins, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly roasty finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Bock, but way too nutty for my liking.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een roodbruin bier met een medium beige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van rozijnen en caramel. De smaak is moutig, caramel achtig en kruidig in de afdronk.

Bottled 30cl (AIH147)
Ruby colour, medium-sized creamy beige head. Caramelly, bready aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramel, breadyness, some earthy hops in the flavour. This is more towards German bock than usual NL bock. Ok.

Caramelaroma. Some hopbitterness in the taste. Chocolate and caramel flavors. Bitter finish. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Herfstbock (2016-) on 26 Aug 2019 at 12:07 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Sweetish, caramelly bock with just a touch of roasted malt and vegetables. Medium bodied. Not bad, but certainly not great. 2006 version, tasted in november 2006. Caramelaroma. Sweet, caramelly, flowery flavor. Hint of butter. Some hops in the background. Friendly and fairly tasty bock.
