Clear amber brown colour, good two finger creamy beige head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma roasted malts, dark fruits, brown sugar, caramel. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, fruity, burnt caramel, brown sugar, spicy notes. Roasty and malty sweetbitter aftertaste, burnt caramel, bit of coffee groundings, light acidic touch, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Rather rich and not too sweet bock, nice.

Bottle. Copper brown color. Aroma of malt, caramel and some herbal cinnamon. Taste is sweet, with notes of malt, prune, pear and some caramel. Unexpectedly nice. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Herfstbock (2016-) on 14 Mar 2014 at 03:26 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5. Original review text: Flat dunkler bock, has all the traits of the style, but remains plain and watery.
