Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Roast red, coarse head. Floral and caramelly. Sweetwith light-medium body. Somewhat fruity but caremels comes to dominate. A bit of spicy hops, but fairly low bitterness. Feels like a pedestrian US brewpub amber ale.

Scored a bottle of this in Rhodes. Was my favorite of the craft bunch. Poured a slightly hazy, translucent amber with a slightly frothy white head. Decent aroma was sweet and malty with some crackers. Flavor was similar, more sweetness, a bit of caramel perhaps just a hint of oranges. Finish was dry. Best of the line but nothing outrageous.

Bottle. It pours a clear, amber body under a moderate sized beige head. Caramel, biscuity malts, some notes of meat in the aroma. Quite unusual and unfortunately a bit boring. Roasted flavor with caramel, a little meatyness and some fruity notes. Medium body with a low level of carbonation. A quite nice beer, well suited to wash down Mythoses in the afternoon. (081003)

Bottle. Brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malt, fruit. Flavour is sweet, malt, fruit, hop. OK beer, but nothing more.

450ml draft at Cafe, Cafe in Platanias, Crete. Appealing mahogany colour. Small head. Aromatic profile of hops. Complex flavour of dark malts. Well balanced medium body, but a bit watery. Nice malty finish. Served in a cognac glass. Perhaps the best product from this greek brewery (28.05.2006).

One of the seven beers that Craft produces (Craft is a fine Brewery/restaurant, there are three in Athens). One of the finest red beers I had. only drunk the sample (which was quite warm, but the taste is full. VEry nice but i have to try it again (I always tend to buy the Schwarzbier or the smoked beer in Craft)
