33cl bottle from supermarket in Platanias, Crete. BBE 09/2011. Poured murky brown with a thin head. Sweet malty, caramel and some hops as well in aroma. Felt flat, not very fresh anymore. Flavor is bready malt, yeast and some dry bitterness. This fresh from tap would probably be quite enjoyable.

@ the brewery tap in Athens. Bright dark red-brown colour. The aroma is earthy crystal malts. Chewy crystal malt on the palate, at least restrained under a minty hop note.

Bottle 330ml.[ Trade by Nightfall ]. Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, nutty, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, burnt acrid bitter in the late finish. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090819]

Bottled. A red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is dry and slight roasted malty. Mild metallic and slight roasted note. Bitter and dry flavoured. Dry into the far finish with mild acidic touch.

330ml Bottle - Red/brown in colour. Slightly fruity aroma with hints of caramel, raisins and some hoppy elements with some noticeable grapefruit notes. Nicely balanced hoppy and malty taste with notes of grapefruit, chocolate and caramel all being detected. Rather enjoyable.

tap at restaurant boheme, rethymno , crete. clear brown, small thick beige head. aroma is sweet, berry, pine, grapefruit (hops), faint dark fruits, faint licorice. flavor is red berries, hops, raisisns, cola nut. Nice hoppy red, with some dark fruity notes.

Bottle from Nightfall, thanks! Reddish brown color. Malty, just a bit vinous aroma with grapes and a hint of caramel. Thinnish, malty caramelly flavor with red grapes. Just a hint of flowery bitterness and tartness in the finish. Pleasant session ale.
