Dark brown/mahogany color with compact head. Mild aroma of roasted malts. Smooth and round mouthfeel, delicate roasted malt flavor, with moderate residual sweetness, roasted nuts, correct bitterness.

Bottle 100cl. w. swing top.Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, toffee, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091123]

Cloudy dakr amber with red glimts and a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, coffee and barnyard notes. Sweet flavour with hard roasted malt, dakr chocolate and coffee notes. Finished sweet and roasted.

clear brown, small yellow head. hard roasted grains, caramely sweetness, brown sugar, malty sweetness. faint butter flavor is mild, sweet and flowery. nice but unexpected compared to aroma. ends more roasted.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of butter and roasted malt. The flavor has notes of roasted malt and butter, leading to a dry buttery finish. Thanks Pasoe for sharing.

1 L sipon, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toffee butterish and roasted malty. Slight acidic and roasted malt flavoured, light bitter and citric. Citric and roasted malt flavoured finish.

Bottle 100 cl. Pours a clear dark brown with a warm tint of red and a small beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malts and a whif of butter. Medium body, hard roasted malts and a little ashes. Some malty sweetness but also some malt bitterness. Decent apart from the buttery nose. 231109

Draught, 4.8% at the brewpub. Good sweet liquorice aroma, some dark malts. Almost black colour, brown shine. Small stable light brown head. The flavour has a good mild maltiness, a little dark bread. Has a little sourness in the finish.

Der im Antrunk wässrige Ton ist durchgehend erkennbar. Darüberpositioniert sich zum Glück ein malzig-schokoladiger Überton, der im Nachgeschmack weicht und wie beim Hellen eine ausgeprägte Wässrigkeit hinterlässt. Danach kurz malzig-trocken. Test vom 8.10.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 11,8,8,7,-,7 - 7,73
