50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep golden amber with a small tan head. Aroma is dark breadish and roasted, light spice note. Sweet caramelish to light spiced flavoured. Mild bitterness showing through the dark fruity notes. Nicely balanced bitter and sweet finish. Smooth mouthfeel.

Bottled (Beerangel, BB 12/2009, alc. 7.2%). Dark ruby brown color, creamy beige head. Aroma is fruity - apples, honey, also grassy hoppy notes. Honeyish, soft palate. Grassy hops, caramel, apple, wet wood ... sweet, alcoholic and simple.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Very deep rubyish brown colour with big beige foamy head. Aroma is chocolate, some mild roasted malts, quite ryebready and a bit dark dry fruits as well. Flavour is raisins, licorice, some mild spicy hints with mild roasted malts as well. Ryebread is in the finish. Very pleasant doppelbock that hides it’s alchol very well.
