Tap at the Gasthof. Clear amber with a large dense off white head. Aroma had light toffee, vienna malt and floral hops. Over the palate came toasted chewy malt, light caramel, hints of bubblegum and floral hops. Finished somewhat dry with light bitterness.

(draught at the brewpub) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and bready (cara-)malty aroma with a whiff of barnyard. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Smooth and solid cara-malty base with notes of biscuits and bread, accompanied by mildly herbal accents; rounded malty and herbal hoppy finish with shades of barnyard and a well-embedded alcoholic strength. Balanced and rural Bock. 10.XI.12

Draught at the brauhaus; 7.5% ABV
Hazy golden color; generous head, more creamy than the Pils. Both the aroma and flavor are dusty; the aroma is very light; the flavor also features some malt, although simple, and a pleasant sweetness level; the mouthfeel is also very smooth, and maybe a bit oily; the bitterness is correct; but in the final the alcohol is a bit too evident. Average.
