Triple B

Cask at Angleterre, Helsinki. Colour is clear dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, some hops and malts.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden copper with a medium white head. Nose is mushroomy and fairly bland overall. Flavour is fairly fruity, with light bready notes, restrained English hops, and some light caramel. Light, balanced and refreshing. Decent beer.

Clear, dark amber with a small, quick head. Caramel malt aroma, herbal hops. Taste is a pleasant hop bitter, soft, lightly fruited. Caramel. Light and a little flat, but a good taste.

Cask at Market Porter with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with a tan head a that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has earthy grains with bread and a hint of light fruit underlying. Flavor has earthy grains with some light fruits and a hint of sweetness.

Dark golden amber ale which is both sweet and tasty with plenty of citrus texture hitting the palate.

Bottle. Nutty tea-like malt aroma. Toasty malt flavor with a mild spicy-herbal bitter finish. Light to medium body, low carbonation.

Clear amber beer. Low carbonation. Reasonably well behaved malt and hops. malt just having an edge in the dominance. A little dry hop spice in the finish, vague orange. Nowt wrong with this but being guilty of English blandness. Boring.

Aroma: This beer smells almost exactly like apple juice, some grain and earthy notes
Appearance: The pour is a clear golden color with a thick, bright white head and light lacing
Flavor: The taste is lightly malty (caramel, toffee), fairly bitter, with some earthy and floral hops
Palate: The body is fairly light on this rather drinkable beer, it finishes fairly dry with a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: Before me this beer had 44 raters and an overall score of 44 (yes, I notice this crap). For those of you that follow my rating closely (all 1 of you - I'm talking to you Kramer), you may notice that I enjoy including completely irrelevant and fairly uniteresting comments in my rating. What can I say? That's just my style. That way, when I go back and look at it years later, I can wonder what the hell I was thinking. As for this beer (yes, I finally got there), it is a bit odd, but ultimately enjoyable. I'm not sure why it smells so much like apple juice, but it doesn't taste at all like apple. In fact, there is nothing in the flavor that would make you think apple juice. I kind of liked it though. It was surprisingly drinkable, and fairly enjoyable. I'd drink it again.

Bottled- Amber colour, small head. Aroma is floral notes some grass, mild grainy and dull maltyness. Flavour is caramel, grains and mild bitterness. Floral stuff.

Bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours light amber with a creamy near white head. LIght aromas of caramel and floral hops. Med body. Flavor is lighlty floral over some tasty caramel. I denominate this ESB light. Very drinkable.
