568ml Bottle - Amber/copper in colour. Nuts, earthy hops and caramel in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with walnuts, hazelnuts, caramel and dried fruit.

Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium yellow amber color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, apple, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090805]

Golden with a small white head. Grainy malt aroma with a caramel note, and some grassy hops. Thin and sweet malty flavour

Cask at GBBF 2009 ... amber ... sulpherous nose ... soft fruits ... again very sulpherous.

Cask@GBBF2009. Deep orange colour, not much head. Aroma is wood, yeast, some floral hops as well as bready malts and mild vegetably notes. Flavour is wood, fruits, mild earth and also a bit leathery notes.

Cask@GBBF 2009 as "Best Ale". Deep amber color, not much head. Dusty-ashy hop aroma. Vegetables, some malts, ashy hops in the flavor. Weird. Too many off-flavors. ..
