A well balanced light, golden, hoppy bitter. Grapefruit nose and citrus flavours give way to a mellow, slightly sweet after-taste. Complex malt character ensures it drinks well beyond its abv. Easy to drink and annoyingly moreish.

Gravity cask at the GBBF Winter 2023 Festival, day 2 at Burton On Trent Town Hall, 17/02/23. Clear golden with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is mellow fruit esters, airy malts, hint of orange, grains. Taste comprises soft malts, light breads, orange peel, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Cask at the great British winter beer festival. Clear golden orange coloured pour with a halo loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty honey. Grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, light, green apple, honey. Palate is semi sweet, nutty, moderate carbonation, ok,

Cask at Rose & Crown, Brampton. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain. Taste is malt, grain, biscuit, bready, with papery tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK

On cask at Peacock at Barlow - Hazy yellow body minimal head. Nose is peppery herby citrus. Taste is dry and fresh with a lingering pepper hint at the end.

Half-pint, cask ale at Exeter Arms in Derby. Crystal clear dark golden body. Low white head. Oily hops on the nose, hints of citrus. Blended taste profile of citrus and earthy malts. Remote, mid-dry bitter finish. Easy going (18.02.2016).

Cask at the Spring Equinox beer festival at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Pale straw with a ring of white head; grapefruit aroma; surprisingly full bodied with a malty, citrus, taste; and a sharp grapefruit finish. Excellent body and flavour for 3.8%.

3.8% Cask gravity at Red Lion Snargate. Pale gold lasting white head. Good condition. Some hop. Some yeast bit if earthiness. Cracking condition Gromit.

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours clear golden with a small off white head. A bit of honey and some spicy hops. Medium to thin body. Ends dry.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and crisp hoppy. Fruity, bitter and slight citrusy. Bitter and light citrusy finish. Light hayish and bone dry to herbal finish.
