Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with a smallish, off-white head. Nutty aroma, a little cardboard. Very light body, nuts, caramel and chicory - and nothing much more. Hardly any hops. 301014

Bottle. A lightly unclear dark brown beer topped by a small off-white head. Toasted, caramel-ish aroma with prunes and toffee. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, pleasantly carbonated and quite dry. Toast, toffee and caramel in the flavor. Some nutty notes and dried fruits. Lasting roasted caramel finish. Not my preferred kind of beer, but it feels sort of refrshing anyway. 141011

Bottle from Coop Grand Marché, St. Helier. 3.6%. Smooth plain beginning. Not very deep and intense. Malty ale characteristic, slightly bitter, a bit boring. The aftertaste is plain, slightly hints of ale, of malt and hints of bitter sweetness.
Much too flat in aroma. Not watery, but very plain.
