Our tribute to the "devil" beers of Belgium. This beer is light in color with a full flavor and dry finish. Be careful, as it may sneak up on you. After receiving a cease-and-desist letter on behalf of musician Ozzy Osbourne, the Baltimore brewery has renamed its Ozzy beer Beazly. It is named after Mark Barcus, a bartender of the Mount Vernon bar for nearly 17 years. His nickname around the bar is Beazly.

Rich copper coloured body with a golden glow and a thick off-white head. Aroma of malt, alcohol, grain and a bit of yeast - not too much going on. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavours throughout with a lot of grain, alcohol and sweetness near the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of yeast, grain, dry malt and even some light sugars, but a relatively complex flavour. Overall, a nice beer with a good profile, but nothing great, still, well worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 05-July-2015 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 22-October-2015.

Poured from a 12 oz can it is a clear golden color with a slight head. The aroma is banana and citrus the taste is malty and some after taste of Metal

From a 12 oz can at home. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aroma of banana and floral notes. Flavors of hibiscus and slightly metallic (must be the heavy metal roots). Slightly bitter finish.

12 ounce can. Bright brassy gold color topped by a moderate rocky white head. Yeasty, fruity malt nose redolent of lemon peel. Sweet lemony malt flavor with hints of peppercorns and more yeast. Dry finish is sticky and cloying. Good interpretation of Duvel, though not quite at that level.

12 oz can as Ozzy poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Bought in late October, sat in my fridge since then. Mostly clear straw yellow with tiny bits of floating sediment, about a finger of off-white head. Aromas of herbs, spice, citrus fruit and peel. Tastes of herbs, spice, lemon citrus, some wheat, yeast, some alcohol. Medium-light body with a dry and slightly warm finish.

Clear pale blond beer, small creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: spicy touch, bit sweet, fruity notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sweet start, alcoholic, pretty spicy, coriander, fruity yeast esters, some alcohol. Aftertaste: bitter, metallic touch, banana, sweet, peach candy.

12 oz. can shared by Willrunforbeers. Cloudy gold color with lasting head. Aroma is yeasty wheat, mild hints of banana, Belgian hast like but not quite. Flavor is a bigger blonde ale, body is lighter side of medium with floral notes, bready yeast, sugar and pale grain with a light black pepper in the finish. Pretty decent.

All aboard! hahaha. Good strong Belgian blonde. Notes of coriander, floral yeast and a little citrus. Pours hazy golden with good head and lacing. Finishes a little sweet. Nice package, well rounded. Can from Right Proper.
