Pour Hop Sun Summer Wheat Beer into a pint glass, give it a long whiff and you’ll realize that this isn’t your average wheat beer. Filtered to a golden clarity and dry-hopped to perfection, Hop Sun is a fantastic session ale in which flavors of wheat, barley and hops co-mingle to a refreshing and zesty conclusion. Hints of lemon and sweet malts waft to the fore as a touch of bitterness contributes to Hop Sun’s bright finish. Enjoy Hop Sun all summer long as a perfect balance to your outdoor recreation. Summer never tasted so good.

poured into a pint glass as i was instructed. clear yellow, thick white head. very strong aroma that i can rate without even getting near the glass. flowery hoppy aroma, some spices in there too, faint sweetness perhaps from malts beneath the strong flowery aroma. pretty nice i must say. flavor is flowery hoppy, faint wheaty, bitterness from hops, i find the wheat matching the strong hops much better than i thought it would, and i really like this flavor. apart from the flowery note i get some faint sweet thing, faint sugary sweet. mouthfeel is thick and smooth. Heavily underrated imo.

Bottle. Pale golden color. Citrus, just a hint of flowers and traubenzucker in the aroma. Flowery, slightly perfumed hops with tangerine, melon and grapefruit in the flavor. Short aftertaste with a touch of cascade hops. Not bad!

Bottle 35,5 cl. Clear golden with a white head. Very fresh and citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, very sweet fruitiness. Very perfumy almost soapy hops that leave a good hoppiness. 230909

Sublime thistle, rose hip, and caramel nose. Clear amber, headless. Flavor is of rose hips suspended in honey with hints of dandelion. Decidedly more bitter flavor of lemon zest in the finish. Near perfect. Southern Tier hits another home run; I’m not even surprised anymore.
