In my point of view, it is a solid imperial ipa. The alcohol is warm but it is well integrated and not burning your tongue and throat, fruity, side of pineapple, lychee, fruity and perfectly bitter and citrus, 30.09.20 at Epalinges, finding mushrooms, so.perfect beverage with a good meal.

lattina 33 cl, 8.2% ABV, schiuma beige pannosa persistente, colore ambrato torbido, al naso caramello ananas pino, in bocca malto caramello ananas pompelmo resina nel finale, corpo rotondo, alcool bomba bene, carbonazione leggera, oily, dolce con amaro accentuato lungo nel finale, astringente. Troppo carica sbilanciata sull’alcool e l’amaro, poco equilibrata. c. 1001birre.it 13.06.25

From tap at Uiltje Bar, Haarlem. Kegged just two days earlier, so it tasted mega-fresh. Uberhoppy aroma of fresh juicy tropical fruits, soft pale malt, grapefruit, and some pine resin. Flavour is moderate sweet and nicely crisp hoppy bitter. Body is medium. I already loved the previous incarnation "Schreeuwuil", but this one is even better. Truly how I like my IIPA. Edit: Enjoyed a few times from bottle as well. Though nothing beats a two days old draft, it’s almost equally impressive from bottle.

Hazy amer chestnut. Aroma is some mint heavy dark honey malt pistacchio and Medici also herbs. Taste is dense sweet malt with lots of herbal bitterness. Incredibly light and fluffy mouthfeel Despoten the rather heavy body. Very pleasant with complex and intense flavor. Good stuff!

Draft at Locus Publicus, Rotterdam. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is malt, toffee caramel, boozy alcohol. The flavour is over moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, toffee, sugary, earthy, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Really tasty with nicely controlled alcohol.

Appearance: Cloudy cipper with a moderate ivory-coloured head of medium retention. Aroma: Pine needles, resin, grapefruit, caramel, esters. Taste: Light plus sweet, medium plus bitter, Grapefruit, caramel, pine needles, resin, Lingering hopyy ending. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, pleasant carbonation. Summary: Good old-school stuff.
