Pours a hazy orangey/golden color, topped with a very decent white foamy head. Wheaty aroma, some yeast and fruity notes.Sweet and wheaty taste, fruity notes, slightly yeasty. No real bitterness. Not my favourite. Too sweet and too yeasty.

Bottle: Pale golden, hazy, big and very stable rocky-creamy white head, sourish fruity-wheaty nose with a solid yeasty backbone; moderate sourish-sweet flavour, soft MF, quite light bodied; shorter sourish-yeasty finish.Very unspectacular, but still quite well drinkable Weizen…

50 cl bottle @ home. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head that diminishes pretty quickly. Smell and taste wheat, sweetness, banana. Not different from other hefeweizen, though this one just seems to be a bit more balanced than most.

Bottle from REWE, Buttenheim. Cloudy gold with a decent, off-white head. Heavy grains, dried banana chips, orange peel and cloves. Predictable but drinkable.

Bottled, 0.50l. Hazy golden color with large creamy white head and lively bubbles. Aroma of grainy malt, wheat, yeast, citrus and grassy hops. Taste starts refreshing sour grainy, then followed with mild citric bitterness. Mouthfeel is a bit spicy, but still plain, while aftertaste is really mild bitter. Medium body, smooth texture and soft carbonation in palate. Acceptable in general, but a bit too plain to be marked as great weizen...

Bottle at random Chinese Restaurant, Castello de Fiemme, Italy. Slightly hazy sullied gold pour with a decent white head. Sweet, banana and yeast notes in the nose but fairly muted. Similarly insipid flavour with a vague metallic tang. Lacking any real oomph in all departments and not the greatest weizen to pass my lips.

Bottle looks quite simple, a bit like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass cloudy, small head. Starts mild, modest yeasty-fruity, a bit sourish. Finish still mild but not washy, hints of sour apple. Okay.
