* Old rating, 0,5l swing-top bottle, best before 2.2004. Mild-trübes und leicht süßliches Bier. Komisch muffige Herbe, sehr süßlich-weich mit Malztönen.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlichem Schaum. Geruch malzig, hopfig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig grasig, malzig, leicht würzig.

Aroma has some citrus, hay and slightly sweet malty notes. Flavour is surprisingly sweet with mineral notes, some citrus, hints of hay and mandarin. Foamy palate. Dry finish with herbal notes and hints of bush leaves. Good, could be a light Belgian ale as well.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden to golden, medium-sized lacy off-white head. musty-grainy nose, cooked vegetables and some hayish hops underneath; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and relatively soft; tart yeast in the dry bitter-hoppy finish. Maybe it was a bit too old...

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy pale yellow, mid-sized white head. Malty, slightly grainy with grassy and resiny hops that also add a citrusy touch.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, a bit moldy-grasy, modest yeasty. Mild-dry background. Finish well balanced, still a bit moldy, but okay. Not bad!

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Doughy and slightly yeasty pale malty aroma with a whiff of grains and herbal hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Dry malt character with yeasty and delicately grainy accents, backed by present herbal hops, lingering into the bitter and slightly sweet finish. Fresh and nice Zwickel. 30.VI.13

Hazy yellow coloured with a huge white head. Malty aroma of grain, fruits and hops. Flavour of malts, fruits and hops with notes of caramel.

Sehr getreidiger Antrunk in einer hopfigen Hülle. Aus der Getreidigkeit bildet sich eine wässrige Bitternote, die fortan das Hauptaroma stellt. Der Hopfen ist zwar etwas stärker, drängt sich aber kaum in dern Vordergrund und gibt einen soliden Hintergrundton ab. Wenig aromatisch, dafür erfrischend. Eher mäßiges Helles, das ohne den frisch wirkende Hopfen um einiges schlechter wäre. 11/8/9/8/8/8
