Sampled from the tap at Aces and Ales Tenaya. Pours a deep gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has dry lemon and tart dark cherry with oak and a hint of an herbal note. Flavor starts with tart lemon and has a growing sour dark cherry with a touch of sweetness and oak backing.

Bottle, 2015 vintage. Glowing dull amber color with a bubbly tan head that soon becomes a thin ring. The aroma is vanilla and vinous, some oak. Sour for sure... Tingly bubbles and a lingering tart finish. Some oak and more vinous. Good amount of acidity. Very enjoyable.

Tasting at Josh’; corked; batch 002, bottled 7/15/15
Hazy Amber color, small head. Nice aroma, sour, fruity, with sweet oranges and ripe apricots. Food body strength; highly carbonated; the flavor is quite nice, the sourness point pleasant, the finish is a bit short, orangey.
Nice…
