For their 1000’s brew of this fantastic beer, each cask keg has been infused with something different. This dry stout is easy to drink, rich and inviting. It is extraordinarily smooth and mildly hopped with a distinct coffee/chocolate presence with a special infusion of star anise.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Black color with beige head. Strong aroma of anise, bread, roasted malt. Dry and light mouthfeel, with delicate flavor of roasted malts that becomes bread, and a touch of anise.
In the Alps between Italy and Austria they prepare a dry and spiced rye bread (Schüttelbrot), and this beer tastes in a very similar way.
Above expectations.
