Created for a non real-ale drinking landlady we tweaked our Stout, adding yet more chocolate malt and Curacao orange peel to the boil. We add lots of vanilla pods during fermentation and yet more orange is added into each cask, followed by a long slow maturation. A traditional with a twist!

[Cask at Chippenham Beer Festival] Black with a loose beige head. Aroma of - yes, definitely Terry’s Chocolate Orange (the milk chocolate one). Dry and very thin in the mouth with orange, vanilla, some green leaves, and an unfortunate blast of bleach with roast malt arriving late in the day. A beer to buy for friends for comedy’s sake, but not one I would want to drink again - too thin and too much bleach. c10

Cask at CPK. Pours a dark, clearish amber with a light film head. Sweet aroma with holiday spices, light chocolate, and orange citrus. Lightly sweet, juicy, not too "stouty," with faint dark malts. Light carbonation with fine carbonation. Has a sweet, citrusy finish, with some tang. Interesting.
