Bottle from Beers of Europe, King’s Lynn
Hazy pale blond color, medium sized head. Strong aroma of dry corn leaves, drying grass, followed by a light earthy touch. Dry and light mouthfeel; it has a too strong impression of corn and dry grass; quite strong bitterness, with some bitter citrus peel, but not enough aromatic hop components. The extremely dry final is also a bit astringent.
With a citrusy hop this could be good and refreshing; as is it’s too simple.
