Bott. 289
Amber color, oily, absolutely flat. Pleasant aroma of malt, Porto wine. Oily; strong body but not too sweet; the bitterness shows up more at the end; alcohol touch. Too poor Barley Wine, lacking a better malty body or any hop.
If I remember... it was the most expensive bottle at Pitfield's, 4 years ago... there was no need of waiting so long before uncorking it.
