From old tasting notes. Deep reddish brown. Tan head. Toasted malt nose . Malt flavor is thin and watery. Little hops to speak of. Nothing like the brews of Munich.

Part of the 12 Greatest Brews of the World sampler pack found at my local Wal-Mart. No matter what the label says, they refuse to be any other color than orange. This beer poured a dark orange with minimal head and lace (+ one insect). The gnat was the most interesting thing about this beer. Practically no aroma (maybe some malt) and I actually thought about putting more insects in the beer so it would actually taste different than all the other Old European brews I have tried so far. No such luck.
