We had to stop taking samples off of the bright tank after we moved this beer from its Heaven Hills barrels because we realized we would probably not have any left! Probably the smoothest 12% beer we have experienced. Nose of baker's chocolate and sweet cocoa & cream, with vanilla and fresh lumber. Ethically Flexible has a chocolate meringue foam, a robust mouthfeel, sweet mid-palate, but finishes clean and balanced. This is not a sweet pastry-style stout. This is the classic RIS made as smoothly as we could with the best ingredients possible, and treated with care all the way through the process.

Chocolate, a hint of coconut. Black coffee. Great imperial stout. Black pour with great creamy mocha head and carpet lacing. Creamy consistency, not too much junk in aroma. Just natural type flavours. Bitter finish. Tap at brewery.
