50 cl bottle (while watching the Roland Garros final,poor Murray). Medium white head. Good lacing and retention.Yellow hazy color.Citrus aroma.Banana, spices and citrus flavor.Not so sweet as other Hefen.

Fruchtig, hefiger Geruch. Minimale Sektnote, Getreide, leicht strohig. etwas Toast und Waffeln. Im Schlussteil ein Anflug von bitterer Zitronenschale. Eher leicht und süffig. Interessant ist, dass das Etikett auch die verwendeten Hopfensorten, Stammwürze, Bittereinheiten und Farbstärke angegeben wird. Die meisten Brauereien schweigen sich darüber aus.

A bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Saturday 27th August 2022 listening to Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show, we had a great tea, Junjaro (Kidney Bean Curry) from Made in India by Meera Sodha. It pours yellow in colour with a nice white head, the taste is light banana, soft citrus and nice softness in the mouth, pleasant wheatiness throughout, another very pleasant Weissbier.

Fluffy, good, lightly yellowish head, stable, over cloudy orange-golden beer. Oranges, clove, banana, yeastesters & fusels, but all dosed, nowhere exaggerated. The same in flavour - all classical things are there, none overwhelming, even almost as watered down - except for clove in the finish. Perfumey - bathroom flavouring with each new sip with some banana. Medium bodied at best. This one is not very carbonated, certainly not for the style. OK, but not one to go out of your way for. Many thanks for this beer to Mariusz. Pelna paleta smakowa, banany, brzoskwinie i kwasne odmiany jablek. Piwo bardzo metne ze srednia pianka, tresciwe, kwaskowe po prostu smaczne.

0,5 l bottle. Murky golden in the glass, nearly two finger head. Smells more orange fruity than banana. Taste starts smooth, yeast, wheat orange, nearly juicy. Increasing caramell and hints of banana in the second row. Little bit dry. For a summer night like this.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Dark gold, cloudy with a white film of head. Wheat, banana, dough... all the pieces are there but the aroma is lighter than many German hefes. The taste is slightly odd. Sweet with a citrusy tang and a sweet/sour aftertaste. Body thin and bit oily. Drinkable for certain but perhaps not my favourite representation of this style.
