Our latest Rauchbier by way of smoked porter, was built for the short, cold days of winter and the contemplation that often follows. This 6% ABV roast forward porter received a healthy dose of cherry wood smoked malt, presenting a deep dark smoked wood malt complexity while balancing the chocolate and coffee character we look for in all of our porters. We notice a sweeter campfire flavor profile from the cherry wood, sweet cherry wood smoke, dark chocolate, and espresso roast fullness.. Snow and Silence is a well-balanced beer with just enough sweetness to help shake the frost of the season Take this one down, and enjoy it for what it is, or slow it all down and overthink a smoked porter... we’ll be doing the same.
