Tart, Juicy, Strange. Proper Bird is a collaboration brew with our friends at Strangebird Brewing in Rochester, NY. We used some NY grown pale malt and whole leaf Chinook hops to bring a bit of upstate NY character down to DC. Near the end of fermentation we added Blood Orange Purée and dry-hopped Proper Bird with Nelson hops and NY whole leaf Chinook hops. One sip will send your taste buds soaring like a Proper Bird - cheers!
