Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a thin cap of a little khaki foamy head which dissipated fairly quick and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: jalapeno sweet and spicy notes; roasted dark malts with ample smokiness coming through in a sweet campfire sort of way
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine spicy to sweet to semi-roasty sort of quality underscored by a touch of bitterness; finishes semi-dry with a light spicy to subtle sweet hint
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness but also I love how the jalapenos are not overbearing but provide the right amount of heat to tell me this is the kind of beer you end a night on
Overall: a very nicely done smoked beer with the jalapenos making it even more awesome.

Smoke and roast. Black pour with good head and lacing. A little caramel, quite dry though. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Savor.
