Bottle. Ap: Black, long lasting brown head. Ar: Barrel aged vinous sweetness of vanilla. Some smoke. Chocolate. Fla: Dark chocolate. Cacao. Small cigar smokeiness. Vinous. Cranberry. Vanilla. Pal: Thick and creamy mouthfeel. Ov: Very complex and well balanced beer.

Bottle 375ml.Clear dark dark black color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, red wine and wood, vanilla notes, moderate hoppy. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, a mild wineous flavored. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090913]

Black with a small tan head. Strong roasted aroma with dark chocolate, licorice and burned malt. A little boozy, but also with lots of noice red wine and wood. Dry and roasted flavour, lots of dark chocolate, with vanilla notes and quite a bit of wine barrel oak tannins making it quite drinkable.

pitch black, nice smooth lacing dark brown head. aroma is dark roasted, very well blend of licorice, dark fruits, dark malts, coffee, borwn sugar, and lots of other stuff. this one a bit more vineoous and balanced than the nieport. flavor is roasted stuff, licorice, malts, plums, ends roasted and ashy. long and fantastic aftertaste. when i sat there a minute after having drinked a sip, i realized that the aftertasate right now was stronger and fuller than most mainstream stouts taste when being drunk. amazing.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours pitch black with a small, chocolate brown and creamy head. Aroma is smooth wooden and wineous fruity. Smoked, tar, dark chocolate and mild wineous flavoured. Lingering mild smoked to tarish flavoured into the finish. Light chalky note. Sticky dark chocolate and subdued wineous fruity. Acidic touch into the far finish.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a thick pitch black with a light brown head. Lovely wooden aroma and loads of burned, char-like malts. Full-bodied, very solid base of burned black malts, char-like and ashy. Astrigently burned malty finish. 130909
