Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Hazy dark brown with a reddish hue and a rough light brown head. Aroma of hard roasted malt and dried fruit. Quite full-bodied, hard roasted malt, bitter coffee and licorice. Distinct malt bitter finish. First organic Braunstein that wasn’t infected I believe. 270609

50cl bottle @ Brugsen. Pours black with a handsome creamy head and lacings. Nose is citrus and sweet roast. Mediumm and smooth palate. Acidic and vaguely ashy taste with notes of citrus fruits and chocolate. Hmmm.. Quite weird but OK.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, light chocolate note. Light acidic and roasted malt flavoured, distinct acidic and roasted flavoured into the finish. Bitter and acidic lasting impression.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, some sugary notes as well as mild chocolte. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel and some mild grassy and yeasty notes as well.

Dark brown with a lasting off-whiute head. Aroma of fruit, chocolate and a touch of smoke. Caramel sweet flavour with dark chocolate and a nice bitter finish

very dark brown, almost black. brown head not very strong aroma, faint sour, some caramel and toffee. flavor is quite balanced, dry, roasted grains. not bad but i miss more diversity in the flavor

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a red shine under a thin lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, roasted malt, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, some fruit and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.
