Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a medium, foamy, tan head. The nose is cocoa, walnut, vanilla, and black bread. Sweet and sugary, with a mellow, burnt bitterness. Medium body, creamy, with a biting finish. Simple and solid.

Roast and coffee. Some nice muskiness, a little cream. Black pour with great mocha head retention. Creamy consistency, low carbonation. The best beer I had here probably. Light bitter finish. Medium body. Tap at brewery.
