Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of yespr/Papsoe/Ungstrup. Fun to have a beer brewed in Denmark, exported to the US, and then brought home to Denmark. It’s a slighlty hazy amber beer with a beige head. Citrusy, resiny grapefruit nose with malty sweetness in the background. The malty-sweet base flavor has a good layer of resiny, citrusy hops providing a lasting bitterness that balances nicely. Full body. A quite lovely and well-balanced beer that feels quite hop-driven. Thx a lot guys for letting me taste this one. 090822

Bottled. The toughest to get of all Danish beers for a Dane - had to visit California twice to get my hands on this one. A hazy deep red beer with a fluffy orangey head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops and caramel as well as lighter notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel.

Bottle, 5.2%. Fruity aroma. Muddy brown colour, I got the bottom of the bottle. The flavour is also fruity. A bit like many other Belgian and Danish ales. Medium bitterness. Good spiciness in the finish.

RB #10900: At last, most sought after DK brew in a long time (ALL bottles were exported to the US), very last bottle found at the Pizza Port bottleshop in Carlsbad. 75 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden deep orange with a slowly collapsing and off-white head. Aroma is breadish malty, mild hoppy and spiced. Smooth breadish, roasted, caramelish and bitter flavoured finish. Nicely balanced brew.

Hazy dark amber with a large beige head. Aroma had pine, grapefruits and hops. Flavour was quite hoppy with grapefruit, fruits, pine and malty notes. Finished bitter from the hops. Not bad.
