A righteously royal 6.8% IPA, this iteration of Kings & Queens was kettled and whirlpool’d with Simcoe and Mosaic, then dry hopped entirely with Superdelic — a new varietal for us. Straight outta New Zealand, Superdelic is bright and brashly tropical like our favorite NZ hops, with some unique candy and red citrus character. The regal varietal presides over familiar notes of red berry, dankness, and light pine from the underlying PNW hop duo.
As with most of our West Coast IPAs, we brewed Kings & Queens IV with a clean base of pilsner and pale malts. Prim and proper and crisp.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
Tastes like a more bitter Nelson or riwaka. That mix of grapefruit, then loads of pine from the other west coast hops. Slightly hazy yellow pour with pretty good head and lacing. Very bitter end. Tap at brewery.
