It’s a question that’s been pondered since the Late Pleistocene age. An interrogative quite literal from one perspective, while also a sphinxian riddle probing the abyssal, perhaps unknowable mysteries lurking in the souls of humans and canines alike. Indeed… Who Let the Dogs Out?
Who Let the Dogs Out is a tribute to the furry, four-legged companions that frequent Ocelot’s tasting room. We’ve always been a doggo-friendly space, and now we finally have a beer that commemorates our most good boys and girls. Four labels. 43 pups. 100% adorbs.
And since we’re already playing favorites, it only made sense to do the same with this brew’s recipe. Who Let the Dogs Out was conceived as a West Coast pale ale take on our house IPA Home*. Pale malt and a smidge of rye. Citra and Nelson Sauvin on the hot side, followed by an IPA-sized dry hop of more Citra and more Nelson Sauvin. All the melon, orange citrus, white grapey feels of Home* in a crisp and crushable 5.7% package.
Because sometimes dog moms and dads deserve a treat too.

Big Nelson kick on the nose. I love the smell of this. Hazy orange/yellow pourbwith pretty good head. Grapefruit and pineapple rind. Bitter finish, more than most hazies, though in theory this is a west coaster. Great pale ale. Tap at brewery
