Paper King - 6.75% British-style IPA. Put on your dad hats, this IPA has some color on it! We brewed this lovely beer with Maris Otter, medium and dark Crystal, and Aromatic malt; hopped it with lots of East Kent Goldings, Styrian Fox, and Hallertau Blanc; and fermented it with our favourite London ale yeast. It pours an autumn wild flower honey color, with a solid khaki head. We’re getting notes of a souped-up Fuller’s ESB, a full moon high tide in the marshes, caramel apples, citrus marmalade, toasted multigrain bread, baked pears, when tobacco smells like raisins, and reading Ron Pattinson’s blog.
