Osgood IPA is Dutchess’ ode to the inception of the West Coast IPA—a time when brewers took their cues from a century of IPA development in Britain. Our take is a vibrant and refreshing classic, brewed with a base of heirloom British and Pilsner malt, and a touch of adjunct goodness for nuance. Deep aromatic bursts of citrus, cedar, pine, and floral notes from generous additions of Centennial, Ahtanum, Amarillo, and Cascade hops are balanced with firm, clean bitterness, alongside layers of grapefruit, apricot, orange zest, and subtle woodsy, resinous undertones on the palate. Finishing with a crisp, clean malt backbone, Osgood is for those who appreciate the classic West Coast IPA but enjoy Dutchess Ales' hallmark balance and nuance.

Lots of barley, and hops are relatively light. Clear golden pour with decent head. Lemon peel if anything from the hops, but not much here. It's like they got the body relatively right for a west coaster, but the hops profile isn't quite there. Tap at Dominion Wine and Beer.
