Jawbone descends from our ever-growing family of hop-saturated pale ales. It’s 5.2%, super soft, and exceedingly quenching. We once again brewed this little guy with a base of English pale malt, plus lots of oats, lots of wheat, and a kiss of triticale.
Almighty Citra was deposited into the whirlpool. Then, after fermentation, Jawbone received an IPA-sized dry-hop of New Zealand’s elusive Riwaka. This Southern Hemisphere varietal is prized for its gregarious personality of passion fruit, sweet citrus, red grapefruit, and Hawaiian Punch. We’ve grown quite enamored with Riwaka. It’s one charming and pungent hop.
Just trust us. It’s hard to pull off a job without an inside man.

Great riwaka. Lots of grapefruit, and a little lemon. Hazy yellow pour with decent head. Finish is pretty crisp for a hazy. Some hay. Tap at brewery. 838316
