Cask-conditioned at the Cross Keys, Covent Garden, 10/01/10. Pale gold with a decent, tight white head. Aroma of sweet malts and grapefruit hops. Flavour was much the same, with a dryish finish. Ok.

Cask, half pint served comfortably temperate at The Cross Keys in Covent Garden. Shinning surface with an almost clear, copper coloured body. Dry fruity hops to the nose. Bitter citrus fruits in flavour supported by earthy malts. Bitter sharpness to the finish. Very dry textured (London, 02.08.2009).

Cask at the Star, London N19, on 5th July 2009. The gold-coloured beer was served crystal clear with a small, but lasting white head that left slight deposits on side of glass during moderate speed of consumption. The ale was on the best form that I have drunk it. Hempy hop aroma moves quickly to a very bitter taste on the roof of the mouth with the herby hop continuing, finalising with a long, satisfying finish of hoppy bitterness.

Golden color, Light apple ciderish nose. Fairly aggressive upfront hoppiness, but somewhat grainy character I didn’t care for. Moderately bitter finish. For what it is, it isn’t bad, but hardly blew me away.
