Ground Control is a new 6.5% IPA showcasing a pungent pair of alphas planted and picked in an opposite pocket of this particular planet: Galaxy and Motueka. Australia and New Zealand. Sweet citrus, passion fruit, and peach meets tropical lime and mojito. Amplified by whirlpool additions of almighty Citra. Trust us, the engines are on.
And if the papers want to know what grains we used, this beer was built on an even mix of pilsen and pale malts. Further lushness and intrigue were introduced with white wheat and flaked rye. It’s a juicy brew — perhaps a not-so-distant relative to silky soft, Galaxy-forward IPAs like Mi Corazón and Kingdom Half Mine.
Grab one, before it’s left forever more.

Peach skin, grapefruit. Pours murky yellow with decent head and lacing. Soft citrus peel finish, just a touch of green onion. Pleasant IPA. Tap at brewery.
