The Fender Stratocaster made its commercial debut, following almost three years of development, in 1954. Our Stratocaster is a touch younger. This new pale ale arrives in the tasting room today, five weeks removed from heading into a fermenter.
5.5%. Crisp and hoppy. Whirlpooled with Mosaic Cryo. Finished with an IPA-sized dry-hop of Strata and Cashmere. Say those two varietals quickly… sorta sounds like a certain legendary guitar, doesn’t it?
We don’t brew with Strata often, but we love how the Pacific Northwest varietal expresses itself in a clean West Coasty brew. It’s dank and earthy like Mosaic, but it still has that Citra treble. Meanwhile, Cashmere — a mix of melon, citrus, and herbal notes — serves as its perfect foil.
With temperatures creeping into the 70s, the time for zippy crushers is nigh.

Lots of pine, some unripe orange, peel included. Pours clear golden with decent head. Bitter finish. Easy drinking, pleasant pale ale. Tap at Ocelot.
