With a delicate grassy and earthy hop aroma, the refreshing bitterness of this beer is balanced by the subtle malt flavours which make for an extremely drinkable pint that has a dry finish and lasting after taste.

At the Royal Oak, London SE1 27/01/09. Amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Gentle, caramel and grassy hop aroma. Fruity, slightly sweet flavour with a short, bitter finish. Ok.

Beautiful amber color, very small head. The aroma is too light. It has a good caramel flavor, it hides well the fact that it has so little alcohol, and it has a bold bitterness.

275ml bottle. I bought a whole bunch of these beers from the Cask and Glass off licence. Didn’t expect much, but this was better than I had anticipated. Pale copper colour with lasting off white head. Sweet sweaty socks hop aroma. Lots of gooseberry and grapefruit. Herby, sharp nose too. Chalky in mouth. Finish has more of the grassy/herby/citric hop. Nice beer, bit one dimensional and lacks body.

An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet caramelic and quite hoppy. The flavor is slightly sour (probably because of the low ABV) with notes of caramel leading up to a dry end.
