Cask @ The Harp, London. RBESG 2011. Pours golden with a off white head. Fruity and funky apples. Red apples. Oaky and tart with a subdued smoked whisky note. Really dry end. Nice.

Cloudy yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma was fairly dry with tart apples, whiskey and wood. Somehwat dry and tart flavour with tart natural apples, whiskey, wood and vanilla. Finished dry. Not bad.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy yellow with a minimal white and bubbly head. Aroma is astringent acidic apple fruity. Fruity and mild yeasty flavoured. Dry and phenolic. Wooden and vague sulphorish. Ends citric and sweet.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy almost milky yellow with a small rough head. Peely appley aroma. Medium body, very low in carbonation, dry and astringent authentic apple notes yet with an underlying sweetness. The whisky accents are there but subdued. Again a late sourness. 110510

Bottled. An unclear light golden cider with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of sour apples, apple core, and a bit of wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, sour apples, apple core, and a bit of whiskey, leading to a dry, tart, and woody finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 50cl. @ Chrisoโs pre GBBF Shindig โ09.Unclear hazy medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is apple, barrel - wood, whisky - alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090801]

Re-rate. RBESG August 2011, The Harp. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of apple and oak, with a touch of spirits, whisky or cognac. Sweetish but drying flavour of apple and oak.

Bottled. Apple, ssome earth, mild yeasty note as well as cheesyness. Flavour is quite much the same. Very wellbalanced, but really I donโt fund much whiskycask in this,
