Somerland Gold is another regular medal winner. If you like your beers golden, hoppy and refreshing then this is for you, but be careful - it goes down quickly for 5%. Pale and Wheat malts are jostling for your attention with Challenger and Northern Brewer hops. At this strength our English yeast leaves hints of honey.

Port St Beerhouse 27 Jan 13. Lys ferskenfarget. Veldig uklar. Ser ut som juice. Forsiktig fruktaroma. Smaken er tørr, syrlig frukt. Litt søt ettersmak.

Cask ale by handpump at the Port Street Beer House, half, shared with Finn. Muddy golden body, bubbly surface. Fresh fruity aroma with oranges up front. Resinous hops to the taste buds, hints of fresh apricots as well as mid-sweet malts. Half dry bitter ending. Quite alright with a thirst quenching touch (Manchester, 27.01.2013).

(Draught at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, tropical fruit (pineapple, passion-fruit) and biscuity malt. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of citrus, pineapple, bread, biscuity malt and a gentle citric bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.
