Cask at 12 Kings, Vancouver; 420ml
Murky orange color with frothy head. Nice fruity hop aroma, mainly oranges. The cask format doesn’t help this beer; although it was tapped not long ago, it’s rather warm, undercarbonated and oily; the malts are not very expressive, the adjuncts create a herbal feeling (thyme, maybe heather); correct bitterness, a bit resiny.
Messy, unclean, not very pleasant.
