Brewed at Turning Point. Collaboration between Todd Fowler (Stanley Park) and Matt Janega (bartender at Craft Beer Market). Deep, dark and delicious. Porter - style ale brewed with a select Belgian ale yeast, East Kent Holding and Styrian Golding hops to impart subtle licorice and earthy, spicy character. A variety if fresh, organic plums have been added to the cask to balance roast, coffee and chocolate notes with hints of sweetness and prunes.

Cask at Craft Beer market, Vancouver, August 2014
Black color with small but persistent head. Delicate aroma of roasted malts. Weak body, dry, low carbonation; it has some roasted malt and dark chocolate flavor, but also a mild sourness that doesn’t integrate well. Light final.
Simple beer.
