Rich, robust toffee malt notes with citrus and candied fruits have been enhanced from mellowing in the barrel, adding a subtle honey sweetness and warming finish. The result is a decadent and complex beer.

Half-pint, shared with Finn. Spotty lacing from a beige head, amber-reddish body. Attractive aromas of dried fruits, dark malts, and earth. Fine blended taste of spiced dried fruits, dark bread, and oak. Drying finish, long-lived with warmth from the alcohol. Likeable. (Liverpool, 12.02.2025).
