Bottiglia 2014 BBE 31/3/22, 10.5% ABV, Sour Ale. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sour. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. La parte liquida offre una visione offuscata. Il colore è ambrato rossiccio carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è nella media e c'è anche una componente moderatamente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il finale è astringente, lungo e complesso. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, fieno bagnato, frutta secca, resina, agrumi, frutta passita, cracker, agrumi, arancia rossa, erbe aromatiche, sour, rabarbaro, vino rosso, chiodi di garofano, zenzero, uva passa, mais cotto, tabacco, liquoroso, amarena, uvetta bagnata nel rum, ciliegia, vino rosso, pepe, un accenno di acetico e un altro di legnoso che trasformano la bocca in uno scrigno di tesori.

On tap at Arrogant Sour Festival 2024. Dark orange to brown with white head. Some caramel, vinous, citric, somewhat acetic, medium sourness.

On tap at Arrogant Sour Festival 2018. ABV 10.8 %, 36 months in barrel. Bit weird, barrel took over too much. Dry. Some fruit, bitterness in finish.

From a bottle brewed in 2014. Pours a murky brown with a tan head. Aromas is a bit like a Flanders red, but more oaky. Flavors are slightly tart and moderately sweet caramel and dark cherries.

Keg at open baladin. Pours deep amber, nose is grape, wine, oak, funk, taste is soft toffee, oak, grapes, tart, juicy.

Draft at Ranzani 13, Bologna, Italy. Pours a nice hazy brown, brilliant, with minimal whitish foam, fine. Aroma is very nice of caramel, brett, nuts, barrel ageing. Body is just a little dense with moderate carbonation. A bit of astringency. Taste is pretty sour, with good sweetness. Finish is fairly long.

0,15l from tap at Arrogant Sour Festival, shared by Iznogud, big thanks. As "Dolii Raptor Barrique 10,8%". Reddish hazy color, small off white head. Smells medical, vanilla, earthy, some fruit notes, light yoghurt. Nice smell overall. Full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes nutty, marzipan, wood, some vanilla, bit earthy, some wine notes, fruit. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of wood, vanilla and marzipan notes. Very nice one, the beer was almost a bit too long on the barrel but overall very nice 7, 4, 8, 4, 16

Tap at Macche in Roma, 2014 keg. Pours purple light, off-white foam with reddish highlights. Nose: jam of red fruit, mild sour, sweet notes of red grape, wood. Very peculiar and intensive. Mouth: reminessence of the “Demon”, the aging perhaps enhanced the vinousity...a bit too much imo. Anyway, very tasty.
